Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Anaphylaxis UK is the only UK-wide charity operating solely for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. While there’s no treatment or cure for anaphylaxis, we believe that by providing information, training and support, there is a brighter future.

Story

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be running the London Marathon on April 17th this year, in memory of Poppy Harvey, a close friend who passed away last year as a result of an anaphylatic shock. For those of you who didn't know her, she spent her whole life helping others, and this is my way of trying to help, just like she did, so things like this won't happen to anyone else.

The anaphylaxis campaign is a fantastic charity and I really hope you can all spare a little bit of money, however small, so they can do more to help others.

Please, please, please donate, it will make running 26.2 miles so much easier :)

Thanks very much

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
