We provide care, education and therapy to children with brain injury.

Story

Izzy and I have recently become Ambassadors for The Children's Trust, an amazing charity which we have supported for a long time that supports children with brain injury and neurodisability. These children have complex health needs, some are on ventilators 24/7 and require round-the-clock care. Many are unable to walk, talk or feed themselves.

We wanted to do something to help, so we are raising money for the charity which is facing its most challenging time yet, trying to protect the vulnerable children in its care from Covid-19, and admitting more children, much earlier, to free up vital bed space in hospitals. They also need to fund vital PPE equipment, and extra support for children unable to go home until the threat of the virus subsides.

Online drum session: To raise funds, I am offering 10 people (selected at random), the opportunity to have either an online drum lesson, or even just a chat via FaceTime or Zoom. Closing date is 10 May.  Draw now closed but donations still gratefully received.

Mindfulness session: Izzy will also be helping The Children's Trust by hosting a special mindfulness session for the children and families staying at the centre in Tadworth, Surrey.

Every donation doubled: Whatever you donate helps, and every penny donated will be matched by a group of generous donors. So your £10 donation will be worth £20 to the charity!

You may enter this draw without making a donation by emailing getinvolved@thechildrenstrust.org.uk by 10 May.
