We provide information and peer support to help women and families affected by PP

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Postpartum Psychosis is a severe illness which starts in the first few weeks following child birth. Symptoms include racing thoughts, high and low moods, seeing things that aren't there and believe things them at aren't real. APP helps support mothers and families that have suffered with PP by offering peer support, chat forums and much much more. As PP is an illness I personally suffered with after giving birth to my daughter poppy, APP is a charity I hold close to my heart. My personal experience was a fear of contracting germs or illnesses and passing them on to poppy. Therefore I avoided anywhere I felt was 'dirty' or contaminated. Now I am on the 'other side ' I would like to give something back and support them by by raising funds for their charity.  Therefore I am facing my worse fear and taking on the challenge of The Wolf Run. A combination of mud, trail and obstacle runs across open land, lakes and thick mud! If you can find it in your hearts to support me by sponsoring me, I would be eternally grateful.
