Story

Hi folks,

I am actually going to attempt to run the Loch Ness Marathon on the 3rd October 2010!!!!! I cannot believe I am actually typing those words, from the comfort of my sofa where it all sounds so easy. I've resigned myself to 6 hours of hell, copius amounts of blisters and a very large hangover on the 4th Oct!

I'm doing it in memory of my Dad, Norman Marshall, because he is my inspiration and I hope will help me get me round... although he wasn't a runner its safe to say he lived life to the full.

Hoping to raise a bit of cash for Bowel Cancer UK in the process for obvious reasons so please sponsor me! It will also mean I can't pull out, as there is a direct correlation between amount of sponsorship and levels of humiliation...

Thanks folks, if you happen to remember on the 3rd, shake your fist in the air for me (and my Dad)!

Yours, TERRIFIED

PS) If you have a change in your normal bowel habit lasting four weeks or more/ Bleeding from the bottom and/or blood in your stools (poo)/ Unexplained extreme tiredness and/or unexplained weight loss/ A pain or lump in your abdomen (belly) GO TO YOUR DOC, DONT PUT IT OFF!!!!
