As you will know I have a very special baby girl Charley-Marie. She is our little miracle because we were told that she wouldnt be here.

We found out when I was 28weeks pregnant that she had a large tumour inside her heart and so she would die. We were devastated all the doctors could offer us was a termination, this was never an option for us.

We carried on and so did Charley-Marie she grew bigger and stronger everyday but everyday we would wonder if today was the day we would lose our baby girl.

We told our other five children that god was deciding whether we could keep her or whether he wanted her up in heaven with him. This was so hard for us as a family but we managed to carry on like normal.

On the 5th jan this year we had our priest with us at the hospital for the birth of our special girl. The doctors told us that she wouldnt be able to breathe, cry, anything and that she would die. She was born and she did breathe, she did cry, she did everything a newborn does. She was taken to nicu but didnt need any help.

We took her home on day three!!

She still has the tumour inside her heart but it doesnt bother her in any way she is a very happy baby developing well, she truly is a miracle.

Then in June this year we found out that she has Tuberous Sclerosis which is a genetic disorder which can cause tumours to form in the organs such as the heart, brain, lungs etc...

Also in August this year we found out that our other daughter emma-jean who is just 3yrs old also has Tuberous Sclerosis and is currently waiting for scans.

I am doing a fun run on the 18th September in Coventry with my best friend  Annaleis (Charley- Marie's God mummy) to help raise money and awareness about Tuberous Sclerosis.
