Story
Teenage Cancer Trust was a charity very close to a friend of mine's heart. They helped her in so many ways and she always spoke of how they cared for her and gave her hope.
Sadly, on the 28/05/14, Freya passed away after her fight against cancer at just 21.
She'll be absolutely rinsing herself at me for doing this - she knows how much of a wimp I am! I'm not doing this to say 'I ziplined Snowdonia'. I'm doing this to raise as much money as I can for a charity that helped the genuinely kindest, most humble, strongest person I know. Freya will be finding the zip line hilarious, especially when I am flying at 100mph crying out with nothing but fear! And I know she'll be ecstatic if we can raise loads of money for a charity close to her heart.
One in seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to providing expert care and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer’. They treat them as young people first, cancer patients second and everything they do aims to improve their quality of life and chances of survival. Teenage Cancer Trust rely on donations to fund their vital work. Help transform the lives of young people with cancer by donating towards my Zip World Snowdonia challenge.
