My story
UPDATE:
Had a great day, Achived my goal and beat my time by just over 1min so happy as it was harder this year as water was a bit choppier! So time was 42 min 19 secs. Sister and Uncle also completed swim. So whens the next one? When my arms don't ache anymore (well maybe a bit after that!) Well I'll keep you posted. Thank you for all your donations...
I am doing the Great North Swim, which is 1 mile swim in Windermere in the Lake District. I am swimming with my uncle and my sister.... We have all been training hard and are looking forward to donning our wetsuits and getting cold! We've been waiting a year, (as last year was cancelled) so fingers crossed no algae this time.
I am aiming to beat my time from the last time I did it, so want to get under 43 minutes....
I am swimming for Bees for Development - which I think is a great charity, not only helping some of the poorest people make money by beekeeping and selling honey, at the same time helping the environment... so why not sponsor me...
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
