Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (SWCC) was established in March 2011 to help fundraise for important wildlife conservation work both at home and abroad.

Story

The ‘common’ hedgehog is under threat from human caused changes to their natural habitat.  The Hedgehog Hospital at Shepreth treats and rehabilitates hedgehogs before release back into the wild.
Also, lots of charities are struggling at the moment due to caronavirus so we wanted to help by raising some money for Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity. (SWCC)

Another way to help hedgehogs is to sponsor a hedgehog.Help save the life of a hedgehog this year and sponsor a hedgehog. All proceeds to the Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital. Find out how to sponsor a hedgehog today.

There is seven of us and we are going to read seven books each in a month. We are going to try and raise £500 to give to the hedgehog hospital.

The people taking part are:

- Megan,

- Krummi,

- Esme,

- Milly,

- Amelia,

- Amelie,

- Molly.

We will record the books we've read on here when we've finished them.

Another reason we are doing this is that a few weeks ago we found a hedgehog in the park and was very unwell so we took it home in a cat basket and then took him to the vet.

To stop that happening make sure you sponsor us!!
