Story

Thank you for taking time to visit The Heidi Taylor Brighter
Future Fund – Just Giving Page. Through this fund we are supporting the Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity

Heidi was only 33 when she was taken from us. She was taken ill on Christmas Eve 2014 and was subsequently diagnosed with a Grade 4 Brain Tumor. After a brave and courageous battle she sadly passed away on the 4th November 2015. Throughout this she remained strong and cheerful; an inspiration to us all.

Heidi was a Pediatric Nurse, having wanted to be one from a young age, often practicing her skills on her little brothers. She always stayed at the front line of nursing and was dedicated to her job and caring for children, often skipping breaks/lunch to make sure the children got the care they needed. She was also became a mentor to new nurses

As Heidi was a children’s nurse it is for the reason we have chosen to support GOSH and raise vital funds for them through her brighter future fund, making as much as we can for this incredible hospital. Through this the positive legacy of our beautiful Heidi will live on.
