Helen Miller and I are doing the Reading Half Marathon this coming Sunday (21st March) and would be most appreciative if you would support us. You can do this in 2 ways. By giving a few quid but also by leaving an 'encouraging' message on this site.

 

I'm dissapointed to say that the 'Bewsey/Miller Krug Champagne Fund' is no longer eligible as a registered charity so we are raising for dosh for an almost equally worthy cause....Help for Heroes. Any donation of any size gratefully recieved.

 

You will be glad to know that the training is going very well. We can down a pint of 'Stolly Bolly' in less than 8 seconds.....and are immediately able to walk/run in a straight line after that. We expect to come in just before the deep sea diver and by sunset (same day).

 

For anyone who is going to watch the event.....Hells and I will be wearing fetching, luminous, pink lycra outfits that Gok Wok (can't remember his full name) would be delighted to see (put in the bin). Apparently the beer refreshment table is at the 9 mile mark....so we might slow down there if you want to shower us with compliments.
