I’m doing this trek for East Cheshire hospice because of the care and support they give to people with life limiting illnesses. They depend on donations to continue their good work.

I also have a personal challenge in that I turned 70 this year and in a moment of madness signed up for this trek! I’m fortunate enough to have Janet Jay coming with me who was my tent buddy in Machu Picchu 15 years ago! She kept everyone’s spirits up then and I’m sure she’ll do the same this time.
