From Couch Potato... to Athlete??!! Yes I am planning to complete the London Marathon in April this year... something I wanted to do 20 years ago... but after running a couple of times around the local park decided it was much too hard and shelved the idea!!!... Now 20 years and 3 kids later I am doing it!

I am raising money for Dockland Settlements and so would be very grateful if you could find the time to sponsor me.  The Dockland Settlements is a charity which was set up over 100 years ago and it gives support to the most deprived areas in the Docklands; providing courses and welfare support for families.  As the marathon route goes past some of their hostels I thought it was a fitting charity to support.
