Well, it's that time of year again when I have too much work to do and too many things on my mind so I have decided to get away from it all by throwing myself off the library!
I will be abseiling off Durham University Library on Friday 11th December at 9:15 am (feel free to come and watch!) to raise £60 for Butterwick Hospice (http://www.butterwick.org.uk/).
A few minutes of your time to donate to this charity would be greatly appreciated. *** Update: I am afraid I am no longer able to abseil of Transporter Bridge due to the abseil team being unavailable at the requested dates and times. I am really sorry about this and I hope you are not too disappointed. I am pretty sure that jumping off the library is still a death defying act, and if you are in Durham, you can easily come and watch now!
