Story

These are challenging times for all of us, and Coronavirus is having a significant impact on the most vulnerable and right now, there are many local families who are living in or on the brink of poverty who will really be feeling the pressure.

Footballers Ben Woodburn and Danny Ward are coming together with Hickory’s Smokehouse to raise money for Cash For Kids. Ben and Danny are both local lads, with connections to North Wales, Chester and Merseyside, they are proud to come from such wonderful communities and want to be able to give something back to support families who need it most.

100% of all money raised will go direct to families, supporting disadvantaged children, or children suffering from abuse or neglect. The money will be used to cover basic essentials such as putting food on the table, everyday items like toothpaste & soap and keeping the electricity meter going. Hickory’s will also be funding 1000’s of meals,  making sure that families have a hearty hot meal and one less thing to worry about.

So please join Ben, Danny and all the team at Hickory’s, lets raise as much money as we can. We have already received some incredibly generous donations, including from the Emily Ffion Trust. Please give what you can, a small donation can make a huge difference to families in need.

We may not be able to be together, but we can come together and do something incredible.

Thank you so much x
