Story

In 2018, Siobhan Brady achieved a Guinness World Record, by performing the Highest
Harp concert at 16,000ft in the Himalayas, as part of a fundraising project for Cystic Fibrosis UK. On their descent, the project leader, Desmond Gentle, was excited about the prospect of repeating the harp performance on Mount Kilimanjaro at 19,340ft to raise more funds for Cystic Fibrosis however Desmond died suddenly, from thrombosis, 10 days after his return to London.

The Highest Harp Concert Team has now been set up in his memory to break our Guinness World Record, carrying the harp to perform at 19,340ft on Mount Kilimanjaro. This is our unique 65 Roses Challenge as part of the 65 Roses Day campaign and we are looking to raise as much money as possible to help Cystic Fibrosis Ireland continue to support people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. All costs for this project will be covered by our sponsors so all donations will go directly towards the funding of supports and services for people with CF.

We are delighted that Caroline Heffernan, a person with Cystic Fibrosis who works for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland will join us on the Highest Harp Challenge and attempt to climb Kilimanjaro.

Please help us exceed our €100,000 fundraising
target and donate now to this worthy cause. Don’t forget to share this link with your friends.
