Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  I am running the Great North Run this year in aid of Rethink who are a charity founded 30 years ago to give a voice to those affected by severe mental illness.

This is a charity, you may or may not know, Jonathan and I support having friends who have been affected by mental illness.  Their work is not as in the public eye as some charities however they are hard at work every day dedicated to creating a world where prejudice and discrimination against those with mental illness are eliminated.

I hope this year to raise £500 by completing this crazy run (with a dodgy knee),  various fundraising efforts at work (thanks everyone at MP!) including cake bakes, dress down days and 5-a-side football tournament and prize raffle.

Every thing helps and if you can dig deep to help me meet my fundraising target I and all those who will benefit from your sponsorship will be very grateful.

Keep and eye open for me (in the 50,000 runners...) on September 20th!
