Thank you for taking the time to visit Holland & Knight's fundraising page supporting Suited for Change. In addition to seeking monetary donations through this fundraising page, we are also seeking clothing donations through Friday, December 10th that can be dropped off in the DC office. 

Simple Clothing Guideline: Would you feel confident wearing your donated items to an interview? If so, then our clients would likely feel the same way!

Clothes should be freshly washed and/or dry cleaned, and there's a particular need for clean purses and opaque tights for the winter. Clothing donations should be dropped off to the Smart Room on the I Street NW side of the 8th floor. Please contact Jacquelyn Williams if you have any questions about dropping off donations.

For the past 30 years, Suited for Change (SFC) has filled the essential role of providing professional attire, coaching, and skills training to women in need in the DC area as they seek employment opportunities.

Pandemic life has made finding employment extremely difficult. According to The Washington Post, a quarter of women say they are financially worse off a year into the pandemic. The women SFC serves are most directly impacted by Covid-19, and more than ever it is vital that they continue their important work in our community.
