4 Girls, 1 Boat, 2000m, Vs Olympic Athletes
On September 15th we are taking part in the !"Row Hard for Neuro-disability” challenge. We will row a whopping 2000m against many other city workers and – help! – Olympic athletes, on the decks of HMS Belfast, overlooking London. We are raising money for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney, a national medical charity caring for over 240 of the UK’s most profoundly disabled individuals. The patients at the RHN suffer from a variety of complex and life-changing neurological disabilities (from accidents or disease) but under the care of expert staff and therapists they regain valuable skills such as walking, talking, reading and writing, which in turn lead to increased independence, well-being and choice. All of the RHN care and research is carried out by voluntary individuals but £ 2 MILLION each year is needed to continue doing this vital work.
So please DIG DEEP, think of our pumping triceps and help support this worthy cause.
Many thanks
