Sadly our beautiful little granddaughter Holly Bishop passed away on 20th November 2016 after nearly a year battling Neuroblastoma.  Holly went through a lot and fought so hard in her short little life.  She hardly ever cried, even when in a lot of pain and discomfort, and accepted all the painful treatments and operations that were given with a determination so rare in someone so young.  Holly's fighting spirit kept us all going and she was loved by everyone who came into contact with her. 

All funds raised will go to Piam Brown Ward, University Hospital Southampton, who gave us this extra time with Holly.  Their support, kindness, friendship and the love they gave to Holly helped all of us.  This money will be used to help research into Neuroblastoma, which affects about 100 children under the age of 5 in the UK, as well as provide other children and their families with support.

Holly was an amazing little girl, and everyone who ever met her was amazed by her beautiful smile, which she never lost even at the worst of her illness and treatment, loving attitude and her addictive chuckle.  You could never be sad for long when Holly was near.  Her bright blue sparkling eyes would light up and she used to love walking up the road going 'high 5' to complete strangers, who would always end up smiling as they walked away. 

We all miss her terribly, but will carry her in our hearts.  Hopefully her legacy will be aiding the research to find a cure so that other children will survive this terrible disease and their families will be spared the heartache.
