Story

On Saturday 3rd July, at approximately 3pm, Natalie Moorse and Holly McKinlay from M&N Communications will be taking to the Thames to swim a mile as part of the Great London Swim.

Only a mile, I hear you ask? Pssh...I only sponsor people who run marathons! So let's put it in perspective for you: a mile is 64 lengths of your average 25m swimming pool or 32 lengths of a 50m Olympic sized pool. In the Thames. It's cold. It's dark. It's deep. It contains things we don't even want to think about. Nowhere to stop and nothing to hold on to. And we're not even very good swimmers! But we're going to do it  (no matter what we see beneath the surface!)because we need to raise as much as we can for the Joe Glover Trust.

Providing real help for real heroes, the Joe Glover Trust gives direct assistance to children suffering from cancer and their families all across the U.K. Compared to the challenges these children face every day, a mile in the Thames is a doddle, so please give as much as you can - every penny will keep us going and help us swim (rather than sink!).

Thank you.
