Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On a wet Saturday in the last weekend of August 2010 a group of 11 people set off from the Youth Hostel in Tongue and walked up the most northerly munro in Scotland - Ben Hope. We set off in the pouring rain, dried off as we walked along the ridge line before eating our lunch in the rain while sheltering behind the trig point! We then dried off again as we descended into glorious sunshine.
At 3041' (927m) Ben Hope is munro number 256 of 283 but given that I am not a munro bagger, it was certainly more than a walk in the park! Ian, on the other hand, had managed another munro on the Friday as well....
Headway Glasgow aims to promote understanding of all aspects of acquired brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with brain injury, their families, and carers. It is affiliated to Headway, the brain injury association, but is run as an independent charity (Charity number SCO 30113) by a small but dedicated management committee. We aim to have maximum involvement of the people with acquired brain injury in leading our service.
