Story

Hello

My name is Hope Davis and I am 9 years old and I go to Saint Basils School in Widnes and my family tell me all the time that I am special and that I am a miracle.

I want to raise lots of pennies for the Fetal Medicine Unit at the Liverpool Womens Hospital because when I was very very poorly in my mummy's tummy they helped to make me better.

Last year I was very excited because I was getting a new baby brother we went to the hospital to see his scan and I was very happy but he was very poorly like me. My brother needed lots of help to make him better and so he was looked after by the same doctor as me in the fetal unit.

My baby brother Teddy was very special, he was born on 6th September but was still very very sick, he became a beautiful angel and went to heaven. I miss my brother very very very much and I don't like it when my mummy and daddy are sad but I know that Teddy is having the best time in the sky and that he looks after me from up in heaven.

I really wanted to do something like my mummy and daddy to remember my brother and to raise some money for the special unit that looked after me and my brother and lots of other new babies. I wanted to do Tough Mudder like my mum but I keep getting told that I am too little so I am doing Mini Mudder instead. I am looking forward to getting muddy and dirty without being told off for getting my clothes messy.

Thank you for reading my story, I will be very very happy if you can sponsor me to do mini mudder all the money will help babies like me and Teddy.
