Event: BUPA Great North Run 2013, on 15 September 2013
In memory of Stephanie Pratt
We help over 2,000 local people each year to live their precious lives well

Story

I am delighted to have secured a place in the Great North Run this year as I really wanted to do something special for the Hospice of St Francis for all they did for a wonderful person, that is Stephanie Pratt.

Steph would never take life too seriously and because of that, lived life to the full.  She was always smiling and gave joy to others.  A glass of wine was her vice and everyone wanted to be her friend.

I met her when I worked at RBS - she had many friends here, which was no surprise.  She always made me laugh with her little daily stories, especially when she was going through the trauma of her treatment - however nothing would get her down, and when she realised that getting a seat on the train into London wasn't going to come easily, so she bought a book titled "Living with Cancer" & ensured every commuter could see what she was reading.

In her memory, I am going to dress as SuperGirl although the SG will actually mean 'Steph's Girl'!!

So please support me in such a worthwhile cause and something so very close to my heart.
