We deliver vital mental health services to children in schools across the UK

Story

Thank you for visiting the IAD London Marathon Day Fundraising Page.

As a team of internal auditors we have set ourselves the challenge to complete our very own London Marathon on 4th September 2009.  Whilst we doubt we will beat Khalid Khannouchi's record busting time of 2:05:38 he did not have to contend with traffic, tourists and the questionable fitness levels amongst our team.  Route (and pace!) will be adapted to avoid injury.  Please keep your fingers crossed for sunshine.

We are raising money for The Place2Be, an innovative award-winning charity that works inside schools to improve the emotional wellbeing of children, their families and the whole school community. Children today have all sorts of worries from friendships to bereavement, domestic violence, gang culture or crime. By supporting children now we give them the chance to grow up without these worries and with prospects rather than much bigger problems.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
