One of my life goals has always been to run a marathon. Seeing as at university I have had a thirst for undertaking challenges, this time last year I had signed up to cycle London2Paris in 24 hours, I thought this would be another opportunity to achieve another of my goals.

I only signed up to cycle last year due to the charity, Children with Cancer, and this year I have done the same. Worldwide Cancer Research is a great charity that helps research into many different types of cancer. I have seen cancer affect a lot of people around me and the devastation this can cause so any money that goes towards helping beat cancer is important and can make a difference. 

I am going to start training in the very near future and will not underestimate the task of running a marathon. Coming from a family of runners there are some times to beat but my current target is to be under 3.5 hours.
