My story
Date: Friday, 29 June 2012 at 19:00. Location: 79 Holland Park, London, W11 3SW, http://ukrainianinstitute.org.uk.
Special guest - Marina Lewycka, best-selling author of "A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian". Donation to attend is £45 per person (payable to Ukraine Charity) and the proceeds will be used to support foster family homes and orphanages in Ukraine. Please do not tick the gift-aid option while booking via the www.justgiving.com/IK2012 page.
The programme, themed around a traditional Ukrainian summer festival, will include tasting of delicious Ukrainian food and canapés made by a celebrity chef Igor Stassiouk, a raffle offering to win 2 business class tickets from London to Kyiv sponsored by Ukraine International Airlines, a charity auction, music and entertainment.
