We all know someone who is suffering from cancer, help me to raise money so that Cancer Research UK can continue to work towards to finding a cure for all types of cancer.

The Hadrian's Wall Ultra run is a 69 mile run from Carlise to Newcastle, we are aiming to complete the course within a 24 hr period. I will be running with 2 friends and we aim to support each other and possibly end up carrying each other over the finishing line. Our training programme has already started, we will be running approximately 800 miles in training whilst also taking part in various half and full marathons, fun runs, cross country and many more runs.

This is a superbly organised event and the support teams, Marshals and prganisers all do a fantastic job. After a superb turnout in 2013 which saw a 90% completion rate of our stunning 69 mile course, we’re back on the 21 and 22 June 2014.

We are personally funding everything for this years charity fundraising so that you know every penny raised will go direct to Cancer Research UK.

I would also like to say a big thank you to all our families in putting up with us, as all we do is talk about running, go running, complain about the aches and pains and then sleep :)
