Story
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to visit my Justgiving page.
Having suffered from kidney failure for most of my adult life (a side effect of intensive chemo-therapy treatment for cancer as a teenager), I was lucky enough to receive a transplant on the 4th December 2008.
The transplant has been a huge success and has given me a 'third' chance at life that I aim to make the most of!
To give something back and
raise awareness of the NHS Organ Donor Register ( www.organdonation.nhs.uk) I will be walking the Wolds Way (80 miles over 5 days) beginning
on 7th September 2009 to raise money for the National Kidney
Federation.
Please donate if you can and help change somebody else's life. Thank You.
