That's right, Anna and I have completely lost it and have decided to do the Great North Run 2010!  For those of you who don't know its a mind boggling13.1 miles of knee trembling, heart pounding, joint aching hell... yes I'm really looking forward to it.

To make this madness worthwhile we have decided to run in memory of my Grandad who sadly died of Throat Cancer a few years ago - the same type of Cancer Michael Douglas has recently been diagnosed with.

As Throat Cancer is not as well publicised as other forms of the illness we have decided to run for The Mouth Cancer Foundation who support the victims and familes dealing with this type of Cancer and they could really do with this money to continue there wonderful work. 

If we can raise a bit of money for this very worthy charity it will give us a) a reason to start the race! and b) a reason to stagger all the way to the finish line!
