London to Paris · 25 September 2013

Sparkle ensures Gwent children with complex needs, along with their families, are fully supported & able to participate in valued childhood experiences, with access to the same range of opportunities, life experiences, activities & community services as any other child & their family.

Story

My name is Ieuan Coombes and I am 20 Years of age and have Cerebal Palsy. I am a Youth Ambassador for the Sparkle Appeal, and together with the Sparkle Appeal Chairman Mr Richard Hinton, we are undertaking an Ambassador / Chairman Challenge, which will see us both undertake a cycle ride from London to Paris between the 25 & 27September 2013.

The ride will be with the support of one of our Charity Supporters O2E, that stands for Ordinary to Extraordinary (and Richard and I doing this challenge is certainly that!!). The money raised will be invested into the Serennu Children Centre to ensure that children and young people in South Gwent can have access to many activities and services to aid their development with their families by their side.

The cycle side covers a distance of 300 miles and both and Richard and I would be extremely grateful for any donation you can provide. During our cycle and training we will be posting regular updates on the Sparkle Facebook and Twitter account so that you can track our progress and share in our experiences!!
