Story

Our beloved wee sister was a talented nurse and a treasured member of the excellent neo-natal team at the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen, tasked with looking after new-borns, most in need of care.

Towards the end of her life ( under the wonderful care of her sister nurses in the Palliative Care Ward in Omagh ) Anne read about the life and work of Richard Moore: the founder of Children in Crossfire.

Richard was blinded during "the troubles"  one year before Anne was born but has led such an inspiring life that his Holiness the Dalai Lama has described him as "his hero". Richard's story of love and forgiveness touched Anne's gentle soul during the last weeks of her life.

During this very sad time we are hoping to raise some money for vulnerable children via Children in Crossfire in Anne's memory.

Kind Regards

Anne's heartbroken family
