WE DID IT...29 OF US REGISTERED....27 OF US DID IT BUT THE 2 THAT WEREN'T ABLE ......DID IT WITH US IN SPIRIT...WHAT A TEAM...TEAM MEMBER 3O WAS EILEEN WHO WE ALL FELT WAS WITH US EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!

THE SUPPORT WAS PHENOMENAL ...THIS IS OUR STORY!

WHY DID WE ALL GET TOGETHER ON AND DO THIS ..PLEASE READ ON!

Eileen Sheer was an inspirational friend and colleague. She lost her long battle with leukaemia on 26th December 2012 aged 46. Eileen was positive throughout her illness and that positive attitude is our inspiration.

We are friends of Eileen's who studied Law with her at Strathclyde University and friends who worked with Eileen at  SCRA. We are all walking the 10k in her memory. Please note we WERE not running...she would not have wanted that!!!.  Although we  did try at moments....Running was not for Eileen....we wanted to walk and talk and laugh as she would have wanted  and while we were doing that we hope to raise money for the Friends of the Beatson which was Eileen's chosen charity...we achieved all that and more ....it was a great day....a celebration of Eileen's life and spirit and in her honour.
