Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in support of Water Aid.

On Thursday 03 April, at the IWA Waterloss 2014 Gala Dinner at the beautiful Palais Ferstel in the heart of Vienna, Roland, Mike and Dale were each weighed by Walter Kling, accepting the prestidgious role of 'The Weigher of Vienna'. The official weighing results were as follows:-

Dale Hartley: 102.5kg (226lbs/16.14st), Roland Liemberger: 112.2kg (247lbs/17.67st), Mike Wrigglesworth: 113.3kg (250lbs/17.84st).

The target and expected maximum collective 'loss' is 30kg (66lbs/4.72st). We would like to invite pledges in support of Water Aid.

On Sunday 21 September, at the opening ceremony of the IWA World Water Congress 2014 in Lisbon, Portugal, there shall be a final weighing ceremony (again conducted by Walter Kling) at which point only one can be declared both the winner and the biggest loser!
