Story

My cousin Ava has Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS) its a very rare disorder which effects her immune system and leaves her with a low life expectancy and a high chance of getting leukaemia at a young age, because this condition is so rare there isn't a huge amount of funding going into it. So i hope to raise over £1500 for the charity Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC). This is where my cousin spends a lot of time and where the main research facility is!  The money i will raise will go to SDS research, and hopefully find a cure for my cousin and the others affected.  I will be running the Greater Manchester Marathon In late April 2013.. The training is killing me, i have quite smoking for this and its getting no easier.. this is going to be a challenge and i am not looking forward to it in the slightest.. so please give generously, and help me smash the target £1500- maybe we can double it!!!
