Event: Aberlour Child Care Trust - Firewalking, on 7 November 2010
We support children and young people to give them the chance to flourish

Story

Hello folks!

Because I am very slightly mad (as you probably already know :P) I have volunteered to do a Firewalk (walking over hot coals) for charity on 7th November at Stirling University (the day before my first placement... oops XD) It's for Aberlour, Scotland's largest solely children's charity who help over 6,000 children, young people and their families overcome major challenges such as disability, exclusion, parental drug and alcohol dependency and family breakdown.

Whatever you can give will make a difference, no matter how small. Spectator tickets are also avaliable at £5 each- if you'd like to come and see me make a complete fool of myself (you can do that on a daily basis to be fair!) please email me at isla.maclean@hotmail.com

Thanks for visiting!

About the charity

1 in 4 children are living in poverty in Scotland. That isn’t right. Not all children are born with an equal chance. We know that by working together we will beat poverty and discrimination. With your help, we will reach more children and their families earlier, before it’s too late.
