I took part in The City of York Triathlon and finished in 1 hour 44 minutes! It was a great day and I had amazing support from my family and friends cheering me on the whole way round. Despite a stitch and some jelly legs I was still smiling at the finish line and I am very proud of my achievement. 

Many thanks to my amazing sister for the live tweets throughout the triathlon and helping me set up a texting service. Now you can text "RALY71 £5" to 70070, which is an easy way to donate for those with less time! 

The raffle at the York Student Cinema quiz went down a treat! I managed to make a nice amount for Raleigh International. Thank you so much to people who bought tickets and well done to the lucky winners! 

Some AMAZING local businesses donated prizes including: The Jorvik Centre, York Cocoa House, York Sport Village, Give the Dog a Bone and Nail Bar One. I would like to thank them for their support as it is very much appreciated!

I am very lucky to have the chance to volunteer in Tanzania this summer. I will be there for 5 weeks working with a community on a water and sanitation or community resilience project.

Only half the population of Tanzania have reliable access to safe drinking water and only 12% have access to adequate sanitation.

I am raising money directly for Raleigh, none of it will go towards my own personal costs! Everything you give will help with the good work that Raleigh does.
