We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

A team of us at Prime have embarked on a challenge of climbing three mountains, Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, cycling to each mountain from our office in Solihull and also rowing the length of the local Lakes: Bala, Windermere and Loch Ness.

We have embarked on such an epic challenge in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. First opening its doors in 1862, Birmingham Children’s Hospital enjoys a nationwide reputation for ground-breaking research and care treating over 86,000 children each year. With 360 beds, 15 wards, 14 theaters and 61 parent and family accommodation rooms, it is the largest facility of its kind in Europe.

With the first two stages of the challenge complete, all that is now left is the final stage of the challenge. On the 29th of August, myself, along with a team from Prime, will be climbing the tallest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis.

Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated by such a fantastic charity, and will go a long way to help us reach our group target of £15,000.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
