Hello!

In less than 1 month I will be running the Berlin Marathon. I have chosen to support two charities, this page supports The World Land Trust. 

 

The World Land Trust raises funds for the purchase of threatened rainforest in South America, which would otherwise have been lost. The trust works with its overseas project partners, to create permanent nature reserves, protecting valuable ecosystems in our planet. Since 1989 they have saved over 400,000 acres of tropical forests and other habitats. Among their list of supporters are numerous biologist including Sir David Attenborough. I became involved with the charity last year and having met some of it's members realise that it is a great cause. The charity doesn't get much coverage but continues to work quietly getting things done and is definitely deserving of support. 

 

All donations of any amount are welcome and when you donate can you put a guess on for my marathon time. I hope to send the closest guess an appropriate souvenir from my trip!
