It must be a mid-life crisis!  Not only have I entered to run the Edinburgh marathon - to be held on Sunday 23rd May 2010 - I am also hoping to complete it in less than four hours...

I am therefore asking you, please, if you would like to sponsor me.

For the last five years I have donating to Plan International, where I have been sponsoring an Indonesian child, Nurul Faizah.  Plan works with children, their parents and their community to plan practical ways to provide many of the things we take for granted in the West.  For example, building schools, drilling wells, training nurses and helping families to better support themselves.  For further information, please see www.plan-uk.org. 

All the money I raise from running the marathon will be donated to Plan International.
