What a Challenge!

Ferno (UK) have identified the Yorkshire Air Ambulance as the charity of choice. My contribution towards the fund raising challenge is that I have signed up for "The Pedal for Pounds III" bike ride from Yeovil to Huddersfield 280 mile ride in aid of the "Keep It Up campaign". It costs £7,200 per day to keep both YAA helicopters operational all from charitable funds!

The ride, which will leave the Huish Park, Yeovil on the morning of Wednesday 2 May 2012, will see 300 cyclists over 3 1/2 days arriving at the Galpharm Stadium, Huddersfield on Saturday 5 May in time for Town’s last home game of the 2011/12 season!

Stopping off in Bath, Solihull, Sheffield and then onto Huddersfield, all money raised from the event will go towards the ‘Keep It Up campaign’, which supports the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
