On turning 40 years of age , I realised how truly wonderful, thoughtful and generous my family and friends are. I was blessed with the best birthday anyone could wish for and I realise that I am a very lucky lady! A skydive is one of many amazing gifts I have recieved and though I have never done this before and indeed I am not the best of flyers, I would like to use this fantastic up and coming experience of a life time to raise money for the Leeds Children's Hospital, please read on to find out why.

James Philip was born to Ben and Amanda Greaves, a healthy first child to a loving couple. After developing breathing problems in his first few days at home, James was admitted to the LGI Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. Sadly after a few days Ben and Amanda were advised by specialists that nothing more could be done and James' parents had to make the decision turn off his life support. A harrowing decision no parent should ever have to make. The unit were excellent in their support of Ben and Amanda and the support and care they gave to baby James.I would like to raise money for Leeds Childrens Hospital for the support and care they gave to Ben , Amanda and their families and the ongoing support they are giving to many other families in similar situations.

My skydive will take place on Saturday 11th October 10am at Bridlington Skydive GB, East Leys Farm, Grindale, YO16 4YB. All are welcome to come and witness me jump out of an aeroplane at 12,000 feet for a very worthy cause. For those who can't make it, the jump wil be videoed and posted on SM sites for all you generous people to watch.
