This year I am delighted to be taking part in the Great North Run to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As you may already know, I am a member of Caddington Golf Club and our Club Captain, Gary Soderberg has chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as his nominated charity for this year. I am trying to help Gary to raise a really substantial amount for Macmillan and I hope that you will sponsor me. The training has gone pretty well, although I suffered a torn calf muscle early on and seem to have been trying to catch up ever since! Still, I am determined to complete the course even if I have to walk, and your support will really keep me going on the day, mile after mile after mile.......
