Step Up Step Down works with families to support children to remain at home rather than being taken into care.

Challenges that the families face are significant, including poverty, bereavement, living with disabilities, responding to additional needs, trauma and mental health struggles.

The Fostering Network provide a support structure around families of training, community supports and activities.

Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for families where budgets are tighter, stresses are higher and demands can be overwhelming.
