Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Alex and I are brothers who are running the 2015 Virgin London Marathon for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

My eyesight has deteriorated to the point that I'm now registered blind but my greatest fear, as most parents, is a child becoming desperately ill.

Thankfully mine and Alex's kids are all well, but not everyone is so lucky and many families have to battle terrible illnesses.

If you think hard enough or scroll through a list of friends and families then I know that we would all find someone we know who has had their lives turned upside down by such turmoil, who have been enormously grateful for the level of expert care and support that the wonderful people at Great Ormond Street give.

Please donate and share this page as many times as you can, as it is such an important cause. We thank the charity for choosing us (marathon 1st timers) to run for them when others who have greater experience have also applied.

Thank you

James and Alex
