Story
Dear all,
We are about to embark on a epic adventure in the name of banter and charity (but mainly charity).
The challenge: get to Barcelona in 72 hours without paying for transport. We leave from Parker's Piece, Cambridge at 9am on the 8th June and will attempt to arrive at the Sagrada Familia before the 11th June. Then we get to visit SOS Children's Village San Feliu de Codines to see the amazing things that can be achieved with your donations.
The charity: CU SOS Children's Villages, a student led, student run society set up to represent and support SOS Children on campus. The society was founded to promote awareness and fundraise for the charity, as well as promote greater understanding of the issues that children face around the world, such as poverty, disease and conflict - all causes of child abandonment.
The team: Rory Nath and James Horscroft, two second year Natural Scientists currently studying in Cambridge.
The banter: We will attempt literally any challenges (within the confines of the law) and (hopefully) provide photos for your sponsorship. If you would rather we preserved our dignity, any donation would be great.
Cheers,
Rory and Horsey
