Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, on Sunday the 2nd August I will be taking part in the London Triathlon! For those of you not in the know, this consists of a 1,500 metre swim, a 40km bike ride followed by a 10km run!

My chosen charity for this event is Prostate UK. Below are a few facts that make me feel that this is an especially worthy cause: -

One in two men will suffer from a prostate disease at some stage in their lives. Prostate UK seek to limit the damage this causes by raising awareness, providing information and financing both medical research and the training of healthcare professionals.

FACT: Prostate cancer kills one man every hour in Britain! More research is urgently needed to refine screening and to develop more effective treatments.

I hope you think the challenge that lays ahead is a worthy enough cause and I would be very appreciative of any support you can give.

If you are around on the 2nd please come and watch - I am in the 9.30 "wave" and there will be an Execution Ltd tent laying on refreshments for all our spectators - this can be found in the London Victoria Docks tented village at the Excel centre.
