Story
This summer I am travelling to Kenya as part of the Kenyan Oprhan Project (KOP). KOP is a charity that was started by a group of Nottingham Medical School students in 2001 with the aim of improving the lives of orphans living in Kenya. Whilst in Kenya I will be actively helping out in places like hospitals, schools, and feeding centres, all of which are maintained by the project. This project isn't possible without the generous donations from people like you - people taking time to read this - people who want to make a difference.
Lots of the children in Kenya have been tragically orphaned by diseases such as AIDS and many resort to sniffing glue to avoid the harsh reality of life there. But this life can be improved. Donations, however much, can make the greatest of differences. Remember the slogan Make Poverty History? Where does this slogan stand without action? So please, be a hero and donate today - your money will save lives.
