We support bereaved children and families to help rebuild their lives
Story
All,
I know that you get a lot of emails asking for sponsorship, but given I have never sent one out myself, I figured I was allowed one such request...
On 30th May, a group of us (mainly my family members and friends of the family) are doing a 50km bike ride, which may not sound too far, but it is off road the entire way in the South Downs and we expect that it will take 6-8 hours, especially given that most of us had hardly been on a bike until we started training.
We are doing this on behalf on the Child Bereavement Charity, which was chosen by my uncle, as it is a charity close to his heart. The Child Bereavement Charity is the UK's leading charity in supporting families and educating professionals both when a baby or child dies, or where a child is bereaved of someone important in their life. For further details please click on the following link (http://www.childbereavement.org.uk/).
Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
