Story
Many, many thanks to all of the people who have taken the time and effort to sponsor me, it really is very much appreciated. I managed to complete the run in 1 hour and 43 minutes and now hopefully somebody with cancer can benefit from the funds that we've raised.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 19th September 2010 I will be running the Bupa Great North Run, the world's largest and most iconic half marathon. I am undertaking this challenge in memory of my mum who lost her fight against cancer in 2008. I have chosen to raise money for The Big C as the unit at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital provided treament and support to my mum during her illness. Big C is a local charity committed to the care and support of cancer
patients and their families throughout Norfolk & Waveney, and to
funding research into cancer at the University of East Anglia.
Big C is not affiliated to a national charity, it exists independently and solely to raise funds for local people affected by cancer and so any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Jamie
