Story

Update: Thank you very much for all your donations. The last couple of miles were really hard but I made it round in 1h49.41.

Kelvyn also made it round the marathon in a little over 4 and a half hours, despite leaving the contents of his stomach out at the watersports centre - a fantastic effort for his first full marathon.

You can see the results and some photos on line at

My running number for ease of searching was 2785

Kelvyn was 12449

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Nottingham half marathon on Sunday 12 September. Any money I raise up to £250 will be matched by Experian - so this is your chance to double your money!

I've decided to raise money for Women's Aid, the key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. Domestic violence affects more people than you think, sadly almost definitely someone you know, whether you're aware of it or not.  I'll be running with (ok, some way behind!) my friend Kelvyn on Sunday who is unfortunately all too aware of this and I've chosen to support this charity in support of him too. You can read his story here:

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
